Welcome to Charlevoix Quilts
I understand the love that you put into your creations.
I am passionate about sewing and quilting.
I am here to offer long-arm quilting service for your pieced quilt top.
I can do up to 12.5 foot wide quilt top.
I have Quilters Dream batting available.
If interested, currently I can help design a quilt top and sew for you.
What's New
I apologize for not writing on here more frequently. Life seemed to get really busy for quite some time. Every chance I get I have been working any number of projects that I have in the works. Whether it
is working on one of my own or finishing someone else's it is always so relaxing to go down in my Sewing Room and just get lost in the "art" of creating something out of nothing. All anyone ever starts with is
an idea. If the original idea doesn't turn out quite what you had in mind you can always make a change mid-way thru. That is the beauty of creating your own. With fair season here I am dropping off a quilt to be
judged. I'm hoping it will "make the cut" amd "take the prize". It will be on display at the Emmet/Charlevoix County Fair in Petoskey.
Who says quilting is boring???
When I read what I last wrote I could not believe that it had been almost a whole year since I last updated this. I have been doing a lot of sewing. I had entered 2 of my quilts in the Little Traverse Bay Quilters Guild Quilt Show in June.
While my quilt (only had one being judged) did not win any ribbons, one of the quilts that I had quilted for others actually won a Blue Ribbon for both piecing and quilting. I was so excited. I had never won anything for my sewing before.
I guess that just proves that I do know what I'm doing and that others can appreciate it as well. It was a learning experience as well. Learning what the judge had said about my quilt will help me grow as a quilter. My next show will be better!
Just a reminder if you are needing a quilt made or have a quilt top that needs to be quilted be sure and look me up and I'll be happy to help you make your vision come to life. Happy Quilting everyone.
